Chef-turned-bartender, Jason Julian (@jason15190), joins us in this episode to talk about growing up in the northern Borneo state of Sabah, juggling his love between food and cocktails, and transitioning from being a bartender to a bar owner. Jason co-founded cocktail bar Soma in 2018, which was awarded "New Bar Of The Year" by The Bar Awards, and is set to return to his culinary roots when his new restaurant venture opens in early 2022.
